These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CatFinder mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”) operated by CatFinder (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the CatFinder application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
CatFinder is a mobile application designed to help users locate lost cats and reunite them with their owners. The Service allows users to:
- Report lost or found cats
- Upload and share photographs
- Access location-based features
USER ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION
To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Prohibited Content
- Upload, post, or share any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Share false, misleading, or fraudulent information about lost or found cats
- Post content that violates any third party’s rights, including intellectual property rights
- Upload images that do not relate to cats or the purpose of the Service
Prohibited Conduct
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users in any way
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without our express written consent
Zero Tolerance Policy
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Users who violate our community standards will face immediate consequences, including but not limited to:
- Content removal
- Account suspension or termination
- Reporting to appropriate authorities when applicable
CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CatFinder and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy of user-submitted information
- Successful reunification of lost cats with their owners
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall CatFinder, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CatFinder and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees).
TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CatFinder operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
